Biography of Gary S. Nenninger

Gary Nenninger received a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1974. From 1975 through 1991 he performed various acquisition and logistics assignments in support of Army Aviation. Gary was the Deputy Program Manager for Attack Helicopters and then the Board Select Project Manager for Avaition Systems in the Program Executive Office for Aviation. Gary was then selected for Senior Executive Service (SES). At the time of his retirement he was serving as the G-3, Deputy to the Commander for Operations for the US Army Aviation and Missile Command in Redstone Arsenal, AL. He was responsible for all current and future operations, stategic planning, independent analyses, and acted as the Command financial adviser. Gary provided executive management for Aviation Field Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance, Aviation Reset, Missile Demilitarization, and the Logistics Support Facility. |
Gary also served a two year term as the Chairman of the Joint Aviation Logistics Commanders' Working Board. Gary retired from SES after 34 years as a Department of the Army Civilian. In Huntsville , Gary is Vice President for Army Programs and Strategic Planning for the Sensors and Simulation Group for L-3 Communications. Gary is a graduate of the Department of Defense Executive Program Manager's Course and is Level III certified. Gary has chaired the Tennessee Valley Chapter's Aviation Product Symposium (APS) committee for the past 8 years. Gary and his wife Bonnie reside in Madison , AL .
